To borrow from the TMCGL, you need only:
a) identify as a woman, trans man or woman, or gender diverse human,
AND
b) have attended any one of our events and signed our waiver!
Borrowing from the gear library will always be free. We'll ask for basic contact information so we can stay in touch. Your personal information will never be shared.
Lending of gear is on a first-booked, first-served basis.
Items can be loaned for up to 21 days, with the possibility of renewal considered case-by-case.
Borrowers must be 18 yrs old. If you're under 18 and would like to borrow gear, get in touch and we’ll see what's possible.
Please allow up to 48 hours for us to respond to booking requests! We’re a small team of volunteers doing our best. <3
We ask that you return all borrowed items DRY, CLEAN & FULLY PACKED. What does this mean?
Tents:
Shake or sweep out dirt before packing at the campsite
Fully dry the tent at home after use (even if it feels dry on site)
Wipe off mud or debris as needed
Ensure all parts, including pegs, are packed neatly in the bag
Sleeping bags:
A sleeping bag liner must be used with all borrowed sleeping bags
Air out the sleeping bag overnight before returning it to its bag
Please wash the liner before returning, if possible. If not, let us know and we’ll arrange cleaning.
Bike Bags:
Empty all bike bags of trash and personal items, spot cleaning as necessary
Return all items packed in bags and with any straps provided
Responsibility & Replacement
Please let us know if any items are damaged or didn’t work as intended.
This library exists thanks to generous donations, grants, and partnerships, which makes much of the gear difficult or impossible to replace. Please take care of and return items in the condition that you borrowed them in! In the event of loss or damage, borrowers agree to pay for the loss equal to the value of the item or damage, as determined by TMC leadership.
